Glenis is the host for an event to be held this week in Brussels which will feature representatives from European consumer and public health groups, as well as food producers and retailers.
Glenis explained. “The European Commission’s proposals on food information are scheduled for considerable debate over the coming months with the first reading due to take place before the summer.”
“As the MEP in my political group who is responsible for this new legislation, I know the growing debate surrounding the issue of food labelling. This event will enable other legislators to hear some of the arguments.”
