Glenis re-elected as Labour’s Leader in Europe

Local MEP Glenis Willmott has been re-elected as Labour’s Leader in Europe.

Mrs Willmott, who was first elected in January of this year said: “I feel privileged to have been confirmed as Leader of the European Parliamentary Labour Party and to lead our Labour MEPs in the newly-elected European Parliament.

“Europe has such an important part to play in making our everyday lives better and Labour MEPs will work hard for British people right from the centre of the European Parliament.”
