Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire has greatly benefited from EU investment in information technology.
Not only did Lincolnshire County Council receive £7 million for a five year project aimed at bringing subsidised broadband to around 3000 businesses, but Boston College received £246,900 of ESF money to deliver high quality ICT and basic skills training in local communities and rural areas in South and East Lincolnshire. Using three mobile training units, the project aimed to overcome known barriers to learning, particularly for those unable or unwilling to access the main College campuses.
